Reiki Healing
Every single person does the same thing when they are hurt or bump into something- we touch the part that hurts. We rub or hold the injury for a few seconds or minutes to make it feel better.
In Reiki we learn to hold the affected area for three to five minutes, which gives a fair amount of relief from the pain. Also with Reiki we have attunments that increase our ability to heal others and ourselves. So next time you have a bump or are not well, place your hands on the area and allow your body’s own natural healing abilities to flow from your hands and help the hurt part.
In the centre of your palms is a chakra energy spot that does the work for you automatically. To focus this energy further you could even trace out a simple circle on your palm – see what happens. Good luck.
Crystal and Gemstones
If you are new to Crystal Healing it’s a good idea to start off with a lovely Rose Quartz tumble stone. They come in different shapes and sizes and the colour may range from pale to rosy pink.
Buy one that is at least an inch round or long and hold in the centre of your palm for a few minutes and it should help you to relax.
Also place it over an area that you may feel discomfort with and hold it there for a good few minutes; they usually do help.
Stroke across your forehead to ease migraines or headaches; if you have toothache rub the area gently to ease the discomfort.
Carry it with you as much as possible and even place it under your pillow at night.
The only thing to be mindful of is that little children might see it as a sweet! So be careful where you leave it.
